"The County was instrumental in helping us see the project through," notes Director of Development and Marketing Christine Boake. "If we needed a piece of equipment, it was here. Without their backing and the volunteer hours from municipal staff and councillors, the project may not have been achievable".

The enhanced venue now draws major premier gatherings like the Alberta High School Finals Rodeo, Lakeland Rodeo Association competitions, and the Zeke Thurston Invitational Xtreme Broncs, which brought over 2,000 spectators together in a single evening. Beyond filling the stands, these high-caliber events showcase homegrown talent, having nurtured 13 Canadian junior and high school rodeo champions right here in Stettler.
